Love the natural light in your new home! You must be pleased about this aspect. Sunlight is so uplifting. Coming from the Southern Hemisphere, my house has a lot of north facing windows and there is nothing nicer in the winter than when the sun drops its arc in the colder months and the sun filters in, its heaven! Decorating should be a process over time and I am glad you are doing it that way. It will mean so much more to you in the end. Enjoy it all! You and John have worked hard, so go for it.

Hi, all beautiful. I actually used an extra closet for all the cat things. I would use that closet for the litter box and the food/water bowls. My cats loved it. They like privacy when using the box. (Just left the door somewhat opened.)

I had the same thought...lol. I had a friend who used her closet for the cat box. You could put a little "kitty" door at the bottom and then you could leave the main door closed.

There’s such a calm to the space... all the soft neutrals and white. I love the floors. Truly your space breathes peacefulness. Whatever you do will shine I’m sure. I have cats as well and I, too, put a litter box in a closet once. You could remove the closet door and hang a pretty curtain that doesn’t hang to the floor. Anyway thanks for sharing your lovely space and your design process.

What I love, love, love about the house so far is: Everything looks like high-end, luxey, beautiful pieces throughout and it goes together perfectly BUT you are not gonna look in Architectural Digest or House Beautiful magazine and see this same house in it 50 times because it’s especially unique and it has it’s own personality that’s a reflection of yours! And even though it’s very clean and uncluttered, it’s super homey and comfortable looking! I love it!! It’s.a gorgeous home!! 🏡💚
