I walked around the dealership, saw a brother and he started helping me. When YT's walks in the dealership, he stopped helping me and worked with the YT...totally ignoring me. So I went to an older Hispanic man, did my test drive, etc. I drove from the dealership with my new car as the brother that ignored me, stood there with no customers as he watched me drive off. I hope he got the lesson for that day.

Stay focused” As a manager, it’s a problem if not corrected quickly. You start to look like a trouble maker instead solution oriented. We weed those out, definitely not the top on promotion list. I got somebody sent home. It wasn't a coworker but my server. At a restaurant the server had the nerve to write in his own tip on the bill. It wasn't after hours. It was a party of two. When I questioned the extra charge he took the bill back walked away. Then came back with the same bill and the tip crossed out. I asked for the manager he had the nerve to say how the manager was not there. I insisted and minutes later the manager came out. I explained the situation. The manager took the bill and the server to the back. Manager came back out comped our meal and told me he sent the server home for the day.

One time I went to restaurant called Big Whiskey in Overland Park, Ks. In Kansas City mo all the metropolitan areas have what’s called restaurant week. We got there and the place might of had one table in use. A sign said seat your self. Me and my lady sat down and waited and watch this one waiter help the same table not looking at us not once but walked by us a few times without saying a word. We finally decided to speak to a manger and he acted so surprised like he didn’t know we had been waiting there for so long. We got our meal comp and we complained to their corporate office . They said the kid was about to leave to go back to college in a week but they let him go. They gave us another free meal. A few years later group went to another franchise of this same establishment in Lee summit Mo. The wouldn’t sit this group without them paying I’m advance. The story blew up and now today that company isn’t in this area no more

I’ve never gotten anyone fired, but I have been the one that someone has gotten fired. This has mostly been due to the fact I didn’t want to kiss my co-workers ass and I was labeled the “problem.” There’s more to the situation but looking back I’m glad I’m no longer with those companies.

There are policis in place to stop this kind of behavior and the previous Director of the program knew this, and knew I did my job and most of the issues I was having were personal attacks. That's why he had my back, followed the policies and did his best to make sure I was in some way shielded from it. But the minute he retired, I was terminated! So, to answer your question, it happens when you have a supervisor that does not like you. It happens when he always wants you to play 2nd to your other coworkers, coworkers who started working there when you've been there for years and know the ins and outs of the job. It happens when he undermines your work, ignore issues and problems you bring to him. He even scapegoat when other (white) coworkers go to him and tell him things they see about how I'm being treated and he ignore it by giving excuses. And it definitely happens when that supervisor gets promoted to co-director and fires you the very next day! He gives no better explanation other than, "internal conflict" between me and these coworkers, because I can't get along with them. All this happened just last month January 17th. I received a text about a "meeting" thinking it was about the email I sent the weekend before I was terminated, with documented proof of things my coworkers were doing and I was thinking I was going to discuss and address the issue, have a sit down with my coworkers and try to solve the "problem." Instead I was told to turn over my work keys, given a termination check and told I could leave. So yeah, I am looking into a lawyer and I'll update you on how things turn out (win or lose).

Boy!!! Somebody tried to get me fired. That didn't work. One of the girls that I worked with tried to lie and say I stole $50. That was basically my day off. I came to work to fill in for only a little bit. I barely was at the cash register. This is the same female that everybody had jokes that she was my woman. She was one thick yt girl. At the time I was like 18 and she was probably 20ish years old. Nobody trusted or believed her because she would always whine about needing money and was gonna be kicked out of her place. They knew it wasn't me because I was barley at the register. Plus I never open the register drawer. To get in the register you have to either be logged in to the iPad or have the key to open it. . This girl got caught because they got her on camera trying to be sneaky. The camera is literally over her head. She didn't even make it look smooth. They fired her the next day. I didn't know what happened until I came back to work. Everybody came to me as soon as I walked in to tell me what happened. The funny this about this. I gave that damn girl a ride home on new years eve. Nobody wanted to give her a ride

I’ve never gotten someone fired but I have a feeling that my supervisor wants to get me fired when I know more than she does as a sup. Hating on me bc I have medical issues I can’t control but even with my absences I still do the work and then some. I don’t get it
