Just beautiful! I'm seeing this just now after many years of learning the garland lessons from pure experimenting/ experiencing the hard way. This is my first year using command hooks for our heavier garland in a problematic wall. Hoping it holds. So far so good. I love the way you decorate. I also enjoy buying premade but then modify and add. It seems many decoration get modified in our home. I hear some people buy brand new decorations each year! Hard to believe! I personally think it's fun to buy special pieces and keep it as tradition. I remember certain Christmas decorations as a child that warmed my heart. After my parents passed I realized they threw out most of their Christmas decorations over the years. I was horrified! So I have started the tradition of collecting special pieces, sets/groupings I know my children like and enjoy. They may one day decide they want them as a momento to reminder of the magic of their Christmas memories.

I have a mantle that has a tv on it and I have struggled for some time on how to decorate it!!! Mostly the falling off of the garland!!!! Lol!!!
