In this Lisbon 2023 walking tour, you’ll walk in the famous Lisbon square of ROSSIO and also the central and iconic avenue of Liberdade - Avenida da Liberdade.
We start this Lisbon walking tour facing one of the majestic fountains of the Rossio square. We then pass by the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II and the Rossio train station, and visit two of the most famous ginjinha stores (traditional Portuguese cherry liquor). We’ll also visit a pastel de nata factory - the famous Portuguese custard tarts.
After visiting Parque Mayer - the old Lisbon’s broadway venue -, we then make our way up the Avenida da Liberdade, built in 1886, inspired by the Parisian Champs-Élysées. It’s where all the luxury stores in Lisbon are located: Prada, Gucci, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Bulgari, Dior and others.
