i stayed in sesimbra hote sesimbra great place nice restaurants . played troia Aroiera well worth a visit

Played Praia D'el Rey, West Cliffs and Royal Obidos. All outstanding. Went during small green list window so perhaps experience not what it could have been but awesome people. Stunning scenery

Lisbon is a great city. Very beautiful and affordable, and the surrounding areas are very much worth a visit, especially Sintra and Cascais. I have only played some of the old ones: Aroiera, Penha Longa, Troia, Quinta de Marinha and Quinta du Peru, which I can all recommend.

Rory we as a group from Hillingdon Golf club have been to Sesimbra just many time and we think it’s a great destination ,like you said go to Heathrow in the morning and be on the tee by 1pm .brilliant 👍👍

Happy New Year Ray…Must admit I have only played the Algarve courses. I have visited Lisbon but only for a “run ashore” when serving in the RN.

We did 7 or 8 years going to Lisbon going north to Praia or south to Troia. Always excellent courses and mostly empty. One year at Troia we played 36 holes on day and saw 3 other groups. Problem became the cost almost 50% ore than Spain at the time. We are looking to return to play north again as there is now West Cliffs open, Then on to Praia del Rey, Royal Obidos and finally Oitavos Dunes on way back to airport.

Been over to Cascais a few times both playing golf and with my wife, in my opinion every bit as good if not better than Vilamoura. Estoril, Playa Del Rey, Penha Longa, all wonderful but Troia was my personal favourite. Mind you I won there , so thats probably the reason!!!

Went to Estoril Stayed at the hotel opposite the casino Played Playa del rei Estoril golf Lisbon golf Personally found the courses here much better than the algarve

Inside the city or within 15 min drives you have 3 driving ranges: Golf do Jamor (+9 holes), Paço do Lumiar (+9 holes) and Academia de Golf de Lisboa (only DR, but easily reachable by subway).
