Lissandra the ice witch, called an evil ruler by those who doesn't understand her goals, she had caused the apocalypse but still she chooses to defend this realm. She chose to delay the apocalypse no matter the cause. She knows it can't be repelled, not without divine intervention, so with all her strength and wisdom, committed many atrocities, to give other more time to live. Herself doomed to be blind, to be the keeper. For those are her punishment for bringing chaos upon this realm.

It's because in ARAM the bridge you fight on is from the Freljord lore. Howling Abyss bridge is located in Freljord and it serves as a gateway bridge for the Frostguard Citadel.
