This is literally perfect I cant describe how much i love this and it gives me strong celeste and jump king vibes which is so cool the platforming looks super smooth unlike anything ive seen before And that deco its just in my opinion the best minigame deco so far in geometry dash Also i noticed that all the spikes are 3d and are angled to the camera perspective awesome details

I am hyped beyond comprehension. This thumbnail image alone contains more content and sheer excitement value than most levels that are hyped for *MONTHS.* I've never been this confident in an upcoming level being one of, if not *THE* best level in the game before, NO JOKE, and that says a lot considering I have been losing my mind on things like The Mayhem War and Change of Scene before. Like I've said a million times already, the original Floating Maze is in my top 3 favorite levels in the game and easily my favorite minigame in the game and the amount of praise I've given can not be understated, and for all the right reasons, and to see this amazing series of levels, now officially a trilogy, getting a new installment that's said by YoReid to be leagues superior over the already masterful Floating Maze is just *too much!* Be prepared YoReid, when this comes out it *IS* getting a full analysis essay XD

i am actually so SO hyped to play this, as a celeste player (cleared the 5th hardest map) im so excited to play this and it just looks SO GOOD and so pretty, and over 50 rooms??? thats absolutely insane, tho i also have a few questions, mainly: -does fps bypass / high fps help in playing the level, and is the level locked to any fps -can you teleport to any room (even if theres a guide in the editor it would be fine), and or does practice mode work -how much does it lag, and how many objects are there in total -are the bugs from floating maze fixed? (you cant jump if you fall one block while still continuing to hold a direction) -is this somehow lower latency than floating maze (silly question but it would be incredibly funny if it was, i dont know if maze has any latency anyways) -how many playtesters do you have / are planning to have anyways this is the first time ive ever been actually hyped to play a gd level in the almost 7 years ive played, good work man

-You can play the level at any fps -You can use a secret room to teleport to the start of any level, but not any room -I hope to finish the level in under 100k objects, but in comparison to Floating Maze, the level runs extremely well. In Floating Maze, all ~50k objects were moving with the player simultaneously, but in this level, I split each level independently so only as much as 10k objects are moving at once. -Yes, I completely remade the platformer controls, and I learned from my mistakes, so the only few bugs in the controls are both rare and visual. -I pretty much optimized the input delay as much as possible, so even at 144hz the time the player input takes to cause the minigame player to move is 1 frame. -I only have a few playtesters now, but I want to have a lot, as many as possible really

I honestly would love to play a full game with this exact style and vibe. Hard as shit, Celeste like, one life only, kind of reminding of IWBTG and a alikes, that would be perfect. This can rightfully be considered the best mini-game ever created in GD. The pixel art is great and I didn't even initially realize that it was GD. I love how the creators try to squeeze the last of 2.1 to create masterpieces like this. This shows the evolution of level creation, and I'm even excited and afraid to imagine what kind of crazy things would come to mind for level creators in 2.2. I am glad that we have such talents in the community.

Damn, I'm ready to watch this forever because it's really stunning! This level is ten times better than Floating Maze and it's not even fully ready yet. Already according to this trailer, I can safely say Floating Outskirts will become one of the BEST minigames in the history of Geometry Dash. There are so many details and interesting points here that I don't even know where to start... although, no, I still know. Touching the walls. If it really is in the final version, it will greatly increase the playability and fun. Floating Maze was very merciless in this regard: one wrong move - you are guaranteed to die, especially when the game accidentally reads move to the side instead of jump. So, I believe this innovation will compensate for not the most responsive control and will give a certain balance in complexity. In addition, no matter how difficult challenges at levels are, the presence of safe blocks will help you take a break and collect your thoughts. Double jump. There's not much to paint here, it's just nice that you added this mechanic because it will make the gameplay more diverse. In general, it will be interesting to see how you explain the appearance of this ability in the character. Personally, I have a theory that the hero will learn a similar trick due to contact with the Monolith at the end of Floating Maze. New gimmicks. It's cool that you left unique mechanics for each location, now they have become much more interesting, some of them affect physics. Moving platforms, oncoming wind currents, crystals for the jump charge (as in Celeste), keys for locks and etc. God, how cool all this is implemented! Graphics. With each new work, your corporate identity acquires new features, even here the scenery has become more elaborate. Thanks to the 3D perspective, the full depth of the composition and scale is felt, pretty pleasant feeling. As I managed to notice, now the location does not move with the player, but represents static rooms, which brings the minigame even closer to classic platformers, and thanks to this it is convenient to recreate the parallax effect. I didn't think I would write such a huge comment, but I am rarely overwhelmed by emotions from levels in GD and I am glad that your project has become another exception. I hope that you will be able to realize all the planned ideas and reach your full potential at this level. In general, have you thought about creating your own game based on Maze series? :)
