This is a very big boost for Birmingham when it comes to sound business. I new a lot of sounds came out of birmingstrong but never new as many as this. There should be a kind of Glastonbury festival in Birmingham for sound systems alone. Where people come from all over the world once a year to take part in the Congress of sound systems.

True talk bredrin. Also, someone needs to do a proper documentary / feature film on all original sound system men and woman before we lose them all. Get their HISTORY down on film for future generations. Things like how they started; what equipment they had from beginning what they progressed to; types of amps (valves or transistor), speakers etc. The members involved; memorable clashes, how they got their music, dub plates etc. This is for ALL sound systems UK wide. After all, they did a documentary like that for David Rodigan, didn't they?

Big respect to the person who put the musical list of Birmingham and surrounding area of sound system together especially in alphabetical order 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏾 but yet there are several sound system missing from this list especially some big man original sound system e.g. SOUND CITY (Mr. Chin ) from Handsworth, PEOPLES SOUND ( Wappie King ) from Aston ( big time party blues sound) , STUDIO ONE ( Phil) from Aston, who Siffa Sound originated from, There were two DUKE WALLY sounds one from Small Heath (Crookies) and other from Aston/Erdington, forgive me if SUFFERER SOUND ( Budgy and crew) from Edbaston was already mentioned on the list already, I'm sure there are many many many more sound systems that played in youth clubs, leisure centres and blues in and around the Birmingham with the l would like to appauled and salute you ALL, and to person who put this together I thank you many on this list I forgot about myself and some I never know or heard play. So maximum respect from Midget of BIZMARK SOUND

Big Up yuself Midget Thank You. Bizmark Sound - yes I. Had the pleasure of hearing your sound play many, many times especially down at Canterbury School. Wickid memories. You know I waited many months before I put the video together because I was still collecting the info and I knew some sounds would not be in the video amd maybe we will never know about all the sounds, but yes, I echo your praises on ALL sounds from Birmingham who entertained the masses locally and up and down the country too. Only wish they could sting up again and start play chune like they used to.👊👊🇯🇲
