La télévision en Grèce a débuté en 1966, mais les premières émissions tests ont eu lieu en 1962 avec le mariage royal des rois émérites d'Espagne Sofia et Juan Carlos I dans la cathédrale principale d'Athènes. Avant, il n'existait que la station EIR, (EIP) en grec depuis 1936. 🇬🇷🇪🇺☦️

In the beginning BBC One was just the BBC, it only became BBC One in 1964 when BBC Two started broadcasting. They unfortunately suffered from an accidental power cut and had to start properly the next day, plus expiremental colour broadcasters were carried out on that channel. The UK went fully colour in the late sixties, but many people didn't have colour television sets until the late seventies. The second channel to broadcast television in the UK was ITV in 1955, which was our first commercial channel. The BBC is a publically funded network and includes a world service, television, radio ( broadcasting since the twenties ) and online services and publications, franchises and merchandising. It's funding is currently very controversial and prone to political arguements. But it is a British institution with the oldest program guide magazine in the UK, the Radio Times and is affectionately known as Auntie Beeb, when not in trouble for its scandals, see other KZbin channels. The BBC television channel was switched off at the start of World War Two and when it returned after the war, started up by reshowing the Disney cartoon, they had been showing, before they switched off, to give the military their frequencies. Many people still to listen to BBC radio, mostly online now and watched their news channels, plus watch some of their drama and comedy and documentaries, on television or online. ♥️ The Japanese were the first to have colour television. Interestingly ITN in the UK, stands for the ITV television network's news gathering organisation. Funny to see its a television channel in Sri Lanka.

@@markszekesfehervar6222Fundado em 1950 por Assis Chateaubriand, no Rio de Janeiro, infelizmente faleceu em 1968 e foi o início do declínio da Rede Tupi, o canal era inatingível em termos de audiência e nem mesmo o canal Record o superou em rating, até o chegada da Rede Globo em 1965 que foi o verdadeiro início de seu declínio sem fim e com a morte de Chateaubriand foi ainda pior, e na década de 70 ocorreram problemas econômicos e administrativos que culminaram com o fechamento e corte das transmissões em julho de 1980 enquanto saíam a Eucaristia do Papa João Paulo II no Rio e os créditos, encerrando os 30 anos de atuação do canal no Brasil.😢
