I think it’s tough for a lot of pre-healths to decide what they truly want to do because so many of them have very limited exposure to healthcare until college. When you’ve wanted to help people in a medical setting your whole life and you thought being a doctor was the only way to do that it suddenly becomes much more challenging to decide if that is really the life you want for yourself when you find out about the other options too. Sorry for the rant, just my experiences for myself and what I’ve seen from others haha

I totally get that, but I just don't want people living unfulfilled lives. I've seen it too much as it is and it's usually because they aren't listening to what their heart truly desires and what they've been called to.

Adanna, once again, fantastic message on the channel! I wanted to share that I'll be attending nursing school but have decided to pursue PA school for my graduate training instead of NP school. Having been in the industry for as long as I have, I've noticed that both nursing and PA offer "lateral mobility," which is something I highly value. Additionally, the training hours PAs receive compared to their NP counterparts is a significant factor for me. My decade-long experience as a licensed CNA has given me a lot of perspective, and your channel has been incredibly helpful in shaping my decisions. Thank you again for all that you do!

Agreed I wasted so much trying to figure out which was right for me, am I too old for this or that. Time went by either way! God will Make a way for me to not work and go to school bc he placed this desire in me! Future BSN in the making, and plan to go to PA school after. Bc that’s the path He chose for me!

Can I get admitted into pa school in USA, after finishing my physiology degree in Africa(Nigerian), regarding moving to USA first to claim resident and to avoid overwhelmed entry cost for the PA school? Will they accept my eduction so far in Nigeria till my physiology degree in Nigeria university or will need to restart college in USA before I can be considered please help me

Hi madam… wanted to ask? I am an undergraduate in physiology in Nigeria planning to move to the USA to proceed into PA school but am confused will the PA school in USA accept me to continue straight away with my Nigeria physiology undergraduate degree or will I have to start my college again here in USA before I can be considered? I was planning to live to the USA to claim resident first so as to prevent the overwhelming entry cost for the PA school, and I was also thinking if applying for masters into PA in USA school can work out from Nigeria masters can work out… my point, will I be accepted into the PA school without rerunning college in the USA, will my Africa(Nigeria) physiology degree be recognized for PA programme in USA, thanks

I majored in biomedical but honestly it’s not needed for you to major in one of the sciences. You can cherry pick your prerequisites
