As Nile's cousin, we have some interesting information about this speech. Nile did not write this speech but instead wrote 3 words on a note card while on a train in Pennsylvania on his way to New York. Nile was a skilled public speaker and would be asked to give impromptu speeches on campus in Iowa City. If only we used our language in the same way today. Hand written letters between Nile and his family are extremely well written. I suppose we do not hold the same values as high today and that is unfortunate.
