Listen // React is blending of several musical worlds both in its instrumentation and construction. Featuring a popular sampler throughout DIY hip-hop and lo-fi music, the SP404 mkII, alongside the Deep Listening techniques of Pauline Oliveros. These two elements combine in the music to form an electroacoustic environment that is ever change and responsive. This piece also serves as a manifestation of a musical friendship that has evolved and blossomed through improvisation, discovery, and listening.
