I am a volunteer at a theological faculty. At this point I don't even have words to express how my heart feels. I want to be sincere again, and love Him with my whole heart. I am scared of growing cold because of disappointment, also from my own failures and wrong thinking. Sometimes I just feel so far from Him. There is no sin God can't forgive, for Jesus defeated sin, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed." 1 Peter 2:24 God long time already showed that he loved you and me, even though we were sinners he sent his son to die for us and I quote: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 Bottom line, God loves all of us no matter where we at in our lives. You said " I want to be sincere again, and love Him with my whole heart." That feeling right there is God calling you, even though the "wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23, he still loves us and he is so merciful that still calls us to go back to Him. He is calling yo, he wants to be close to you, just let Him come into your life. Open your doors by just cleansing your heart and confessing all your faults to Him and , because you were already were forgiven when Jesus died on the cross, you will be forgiven instantly. Then you just need to show Jesus that you love Him, not just with words, and if you show Jesus that you love him., he will manifest on you and you will experience "His presence in your ife". The verse below explains it a little bit better. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21 Finally, God loves you not matter what you have done, just show Him that love Him. And what is most amazing about all this is that, while I was writing this reply the more I wrote, the more I felt this Godly love for you, even though I don't know you at all. Maybe is God's love manifesting through me, to you. I hope this reply helps you and God bless you my friend!

+Armando Valentin I am so thankful for your response, you know, in the months that have passed since my comment, I have been seeing little by little His love for me, His presence in me, and I have come to understand that He is the one who works in me, even faith in Christ is His work. I just need to trust Him! I just kept on thinking about Him and He just worked in me, it is such a wonderful miracle He does in us when we cry out to Him sincerely. When we wait for Him to do it.
