Hi Jim, As usual, never heard of them. As some comments already mentioned; Camel influences. Later Camel albums were more jazzy and the guitar here sounds the same. I like this a lot. I would be perfectly happy if there was no singing at all; the music would be enough for me but it’s an extra very nice layer.

I have a right good feeling that Jim, has a Greatful Dead mixtape in his future 🫢. A great record Bill has selected!

Hmmmm 🤔. I wonder where that might be coming from…. 😉

@@JimNewstead I’m going to make and adjustment to the playlist, by swapping friend of the devil for St Stephen album version

Very subtle panning of the opening jazz guitar got my attention. Definitely a headphones recording. Glad you found this one again, and thanks to Bill for sharing! Edit - That was a fun little ride. ‘That Night’ had a nice Cure vibe, very catchy. Part 2 can’t get here soon enough.

Great album. I can hear Balkan music influences in the opening track, but nicely integrated into jazz fusion style.

Never heard of this band - not even from eclipsed 😆 first song - pure beauty, I really like it very much ... all the changes 👍 really funny is I listened yesterday to John Petrucci and Jordan Ruddess - An evening with .. just those 2 ... and the guitar sound here is very similar 🤘 second song : short but nice ... third ... different again ...also good. Fourth song, different again .. but also very nice ... we'll see what's next 😃

Yeah, if you had told me that this was Andy Latimer on guitar, I would have believed you. Not sure about the poppier last track but the instrumental passages were very good.

There is so much that is really cool about this, but the recording of the drums really irks me.

That’s a shame, it’s a great album!

@@JimNewstead It was an interesting album, specially the first few songs. Just something of the mic or production of the snare and symbols doesn't sound good to me. Toms and bass sound fine so... *shrug*
