I love how consistent she is with her songs. In Why and Doomsday there is thunder, and that's because I'm pretty sure there actually was a storm in game. Could be wrong though! Also, I think she gets a ton of inspiration from Karl xD Write It Down, Tell Your Story and Turn Back Time are all about his character, which is pretty cool.

I’m not that deep into dsmp yet, I just can’t bear watching some of the plots and acting so I watch the summary videos in small increments😅 But when I asked my sister who is the villain cause I was so confused, she said “everyone is the villain, no one is in the right” And I see how that makes sense, the hero rlly depends on who u root for and the point of view you prefer to watch from. They don’t have to be in the right for them to be the hero, the hero is the person “who always wins”, so if you root for a character to win that means they’re the hero in your head, but could be a villain in another’s. And from what I’ve watched so far, everyone does things for selfish reasons, no one seems to be in the right a lot of the time.🤷‍♀️

I’m aware I am *years* late with this comment, but I want to point out one of my favorite things. The order of the songs on this album seem quite deliberate. What I’m referring to specifically is having Doomsday followed by Why. Doomsday says “is this justice? this is Justice” and then Why says “Do you believe this is the justice you sought after?” It really displays the juxtaposition between the two POVs on the final fall of L’Manburg. BTW, I’m a crow, and Philza’s VOD of that is amazing 😂

Okay ironically enough so many people have said that Write It Down is about Karl but haven't actually elaborated on what specifically it's about, so I'm gonna explain that because yes I'm very late but i love his character sooo yeah 😅 basically, Karl loses his memory time traveling. So that, combined with wanting to record the stories from his travels (Tell Your Story) is the driving force behind this song. He's writing it "so that these moments will last" ie so that they remain preserved as time passes, but he also says "these pages help me keep track", referring to the personal journals he wrote to keep his memory as it deteriorated. Also! There's little references to his story in the lyrics, specifically "in between" "the other side" and "just stay on the path" which make me happy (:
