THIS IS LITERALLY RYUJIN'S ALBUM I'm still kinda a new midzy so still get them mixed up sometimes vocally but RYUJIN ALWAYS STOOD OUT.

Free fall, 365, Racer are my top 3. I agree sneakers sticks out from the entire checkmate album. I truly believe it was an attempt to appease Knetz who said ITZY lost their self love funzy ways. A week after sneakers release, it’s now charting top 20 on most kcharts. Knetz also complained abt the dark checkmate digital album cover. JYPE changed to a bubbly pink Disney style cover. Outside of sneakers, this new album cover doesn’t vibe with the other tracks. But now sneakers is rising up that charts. Consensus though is most western kpop fans found sneakers meh and wanted racer to be the tt. But Knetz are loving sneakers. It’ll be interesting to see how ITZY moves forward. but the next cb is supposedly better than sneakers, according to JYP himself and the girls agreed during the last gap of ITZY episode

You can't please everyone all the time, ITZY is a diverse group. Western fans loved the last 2 albums, Korean's didn't. Most of their sales are coming from Korea and Asia, less than 50k total sales from the USA or Europe. But those international fans in English speaking countries are the loudest complainers on Twitter, and YT and Instagram. But at the end of the day ITZY will make the music wanted by the fans BUYING the albums. 31k sales plus 2k equivalence from streaming = 33k album sales in the USA, and those fans complained that 45k total seats for the upcoming tour was too little, yet they don't prove that their is any more of a financially viable fanbase.. They want what they want, and they don't care what the actual album buying fans want. That is entitlement at it's purest form. Best album sales to date, best charting song in over a year and a half, so regardless of what YOU or any western fan thinks of the album or the title track it was clearly THE RIGHT CHOICE PERIOD, no ifs ands or buts and no speculation. It's getting the job done. At the end of the day that's all that matters. If you are a MIDZY, it is your job as a fan to trust and believe in ITZY, that's what the name means. If you aren't a MIDZY well your opinion doesn't really matter to anyone other than yourself. JYP wasn't ask about a comeback on Gap of ITZY don't rely on poorly translated fan sites.. They asked him what his favorite song was, and they prompted him with the ones he wrote for them and he said not any of those, but the song that has yet to be released. NOT a single word about a comeback.. Most people are of the mind that he is talking about 1 of 2 possible tracks. The BeBe Rexha remix dropping in 3 days, OR the probable English original song they drop before going to the USA for the tour.. Not an official comeback at all.. We will see soon.

YOUR TASTE 😩👌 Yeah I think so too! I just saw that there’s a new bright pink cover now on spotify! It definitely fits Sneakers more, but now it doesn’t fit the rest of the album lol. Ahh okay, that makes sense as it’s doing really well in Korea! But they could have gone for a bright album from the beginning FULL FUNZY🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m really excited for the next comeback. If JYP and the girls are hyping it up it means it must be GOOOOD. I can’t believe they’re already dropping hints when we haven’t even finished Sneakers promotions. How do they know so early?😂 Hopefully they’ll tease us with something on tour 👀

@@incheonguy Truuue you can’t please everyone. But I don’t think you need to buy albums to have an opinion on music, it’s totally fine to dislike a song by ITZY doesn’t mean you’re not a fan. If western fans don’t like it then so be it. As long as someone is out there enjoying the music! But I do believe it’s possible to make a song that can be loved in the west and Korea simultaneously lol. FUNZY but with a bit of edge, like ICY! They don’t have to choose one. OMG THE BEBE REXHA COLLAB! I’m excited! I really hope they perform Break My Heart Myself on tour. And the fact that JYP already finished their next comeback is crazy! I’m looking forward to it 😆

@@WanaBees you need to buy albums if you are going to complain about tours not coming to their area or venues not being big enough. That’s what I was saying. They are loud and they are a minority and feel their opinions are the only correct ones. When business wise they are just wrong. Loud fans saying sneakers isn’t good, but ITZY and JYPe riding it to their most successful album yet. Hmm. They didn’t choose just one. This album and every ITZY album has diverse music on it. There is light and fun and strong and empowering and that’s been the case since icy.
