The lyrics for the English and Korean versions of the song are different, one represents reality and the other dream ... I personally like the korean better ( sound and lyrics wise)

Simple description for both MVs is the English version is the “Dream” and Korea version is “Reality”....in case you didn’t know already!

i truly love the two versions equally.. just like Taeyong said in one of their interviews, that music is a way of expressing emotions and language is the tool for that. so we can actually see that the vibe in the two is very different since korean language has a modest feeling to them and English language is more of pride.. that counts for the prideful lyrics in English version and the down to earth lyrics in korean version, which also explains why the English version is the dream(irregular) part of the album, while the korean is the reality part(regular).... and another difference is the video itself.. in the English version it was more streamlined to look as if the members does not have more lines because it is a dream version ,justifying how we couldn't see what was really happening and we couldn't decipher who has this line or parts, but the korean version cleared that part.. we could see that a lot of lines were given to all members, because there were a lot of screentime given to all members and they all shined respectively which portrays the reality version of it ... i really appreciate this song and concept NCT did for this comeback.. that concept itself is hard to portray seriously but that is NCT 127 for us,, they really did well...

The song itself is great but I really dislike the English lyrics. They are very cliche and lazy lyrics that are are a dime a dozen in Hip Hop songs. The lyrics in the Korean version are very different and A LOT better. I wish that they would've made the English version based on the Korean lyrics. It's also in the Korean version of the song were "Regular Irregular" comes from. English version: _Cause I need that bag on the regular_ _I spend a bag on the regular_ Korean version: _Of course, we're on the regular_ _I'm not ordinary, irregular_

if you watch dezzy march and anthony too, as an american and fan of hiphop, they appreciate the lyrics so much. they made me understand why the lyrics are like that. they wrote the lyrics with an american audience target in mind

Making something for "an american audience" does not mean "writing bad lyrics". The English lyrics are just bad. It's the same cliched, empty garbage heard in a million American Pop and Hip Hop songs. The Korean lyrics are better and it would've been better to rewrite the English lyrics to be more like the Korean version.
