Hoenn music will always be my fave as a whole region. Maybe it’s just because Emerald was my first Pokemon game, but there’s something so magic about it. The Sw/Sh gym leader song walked, so the S/V gym leader song could run. I love both of these songs so flipping much. The first instantly gets me pumped, while the second? Ooooooo. The second one has that slight build up while talking to the gun leader. Then, as the conversation gets closer to ending, you hear the rhythmic drumbing. I usually stop from ending the conversation for a few moments to soak in on the glory that is this song. Then the battle starts, and all hell breaks loose.
