I had a go at this, in the Amateur radio playlist. Looks a nice day. I did and in the rain when outside :( You look at something, give you the time it was going over, only so many times a day. Signal better at 2 minutes. Does not last long, gone over and gone.

I have a suggestion for you in the VFO mode (menu 1 set the step to 2.5) get yourself a ISS (International Space Station) Finder phone app. To listen only for the repeater as the ISS approaches start at about 437.8100, 437.807, 437.805, 437.802 and 437.800 and as the ISS moves away adjust slowly to 437.797, 437.795, 437.792, 437.790, 437.787. This technique allows you to adjust as the satellite passes over in the slight change of the frequency what is called the relativistic doppler effect.

You should try and listen to the Tevel satellites. Very easy ones to listen too. I'm usually making contacts on them.
