Laughed so hard when John O threw that out there! Saw them back in freshman year of high school at the 9:30 Club, absolutely amazing and their sound has evolved so beautifully over the last ten years. Definitely check out their older stuff, Can't Stop Won't Stop album was my high school soundtrack, "Don't Stop Now," "Fuel to the Fire," "English Girls," and "Am I Pretty" as well. I love that Tom kept pointing out that these three were feel-good driving songs. When Lovely Little Lonely first came out, I would always go on late night drives with my windows down blasting the entire album and it made me feel so light and happy. The Maine continues to be my favorite band as they evolve and grow and I can't wait for them to put out more music!

4:47 Dude, you should see them live, that's exactly what it's like! If there's one band I know that can really get the crowd going and put on the most feel-good performance ever, it's the Maine. They're one of my favorite bands of all time, and for many reasons. Everything they release is always just so amazing, it's incredible how consistent they are. They are the most humble group of people I've ever met; even after so many years of making music, they would always walk around the parking lot at Warped Tour selling their albums for $5 and gladly taking as many pictures with you and signing as many autographs for you as you'd like. There's just everything to love about the Maine. (Also, you're right, they do have some really sad songs. Take a listen to "24 Floors" if you want to cry, that one's REALLY emotional.)

The Maine is probably my all-time favorite band. I love their most recent albums. I actually got out of listening to them a bit after their third album because I was a bit disappointed by it. BUT THEN they released their fourth album Forever Halloween and that's my favorite album from them! Each of their albums has a different sound I think. For example, whenever I play the Forever Halloween album my mom thinks I'm listening to Pink Floyd. But Can't Stop Won't Stop- their first album- is so pop-y, but it was also under a label where they had less input. I've been listening to them almost since the beginning, so them still staying strong and having an amazing fanbase! I just love them so much and would love for more people to discover them! I'm so glad you seem to be loving them in this video! Yes you are!! Definitely do a part 2! I'll be waiting for a Forever Halloween song reaction! For songs Forever Halloween and 24 Floors are easily a couple of my top favorites by them.

They literally have a song called 'like we did (windows down'. Totally encapsulates that feeling of being young and driving round with the music pumped way too loud. Also, it's funny that all 3 tracks are off their last album (LLL). Definitely check out the earlier stuff. Their Pioneer, Forever Halloween, and American Candy eras/ albums are absolutely amazing. Pioneer and American Candy are generally considered their 2 best albums so you're in for a treat ☺️

Lovely Little Lonely is an album you need to listen to the WHOLE album through, IN ORDER. Individually, the songs are great but the transitions across the songs through the 3 short tracks, and they way they crafted the album from start to finish - it's almost like one LONG song. And that's what makes this album a grade above just "great", it's absolutely amazing.
