"it should frighten us" - right, typical western response. Afraid of its own shadow.

I would say that a country roughly the size of New Jersey, fighting on eight fronts, facing daily rocket and missile attacks as well as terror attacks in its cities EVERY day now for a year - all orchestrated by a regime in Iran which from 1979 has openly called for its destruction and even has a "doomsday clock" in Palestine square in Tehran - with a large screen that keeps track of the number of days left until the destruction of Israel, and which is on the brink of having nuclear weapons - qualifies Israelis as feeling this is indeed a war for survival, no less.

I can't believe we live in a world where a country that leader just said that October 7th attacks on men women and children kidnapping hostage taking and killing is justified in Islam and they're trying to get nuclear weapons and you leave it up to a little country full of $6 million Jews the size of Rhode Island to fight that war and not only do not make it easier but you try to put hurdles in front of them. I'm not the biggest fan of netanyahu but more and more he looks like Churchill. I wonder if the world has a Roosevelt

Israel has dictated events to such a degree that whatever escalatory act of aggression Iran chooses to do ultimately plays right into Israel's strategic goals. First, it allows them to strike Iran proper, but more importantly, it gives Israel diplomatic "get out of jail free cards" from the US over their actions in Gaza and Lebanon. Israel simply says, "Okay, we will reduce our retaliatory strike against Iran, but in exchange, back the f*** off attempting to micromanage our actions against the Proxies." And that's exactly what has happened, and will continue to happen...

Israel will listen, it always does, but it always will reserve the right, as any Nation would, to do what it feels is in its people’s best interest. The problem occurs when the political decision making compromises Israelis best interests. Arguing this to those who voted and will continue to vote for Netanyahu, when Israel is constantly attacked and constantly attacks the enemies that surround it, is nearly impossible given any message of moderation is watered down in Israelis eyes by their fear for their national survival, at any cost..
