Wars have never winned without taking risks - danger is nature of war. We should remember what happened when German started to grab land little time ago - sooner you stop it the better and it will be expensive and terrible but still much cheper than ignoring danger.

The US runs the show, the UK does as they are told. Sad as it is, thats just the way it is.
@matthewwalker5430Ай бұрын
@@freebolt5913 that's why we gave Ukraine tanks when nobody else, including the US, wanted to and that's why we gave Ukraine Storm Shadow when the US refused them to give them long range weapons ... because the UK does as the US says? Because we took those steps others, including the US, followed. I've heard the reason we won't authorise Storm Shadow strikes in Russia is because of US tech involved in attaching them to the planes or something. What a load of nonsense - again, that never stopped us from giving Storm Shadow to Ukraine in the first place and neither does it stop us from authorising their use now. If the US wants to say then that Ukraine are not allowed to use Storm Shadow because of this US made attachment thingy, so be it. That's on them. However, as has been proved time and again with the UK sending weapon systems to Ukraine that nobody else wants to do in case of 'escalation', all it takes is for someone in government to grow a pair of knackers. I'm starting to worry that this government has no knackers when it comes to defence.

@freebolt5913 It's easy, the answer is Russia, who maintains the war of aggression directly day by day. The USA abd other countries like the UK and Europeans are is helping Ukraine who chooses to resist Russias imperial conquest

Russia's strategic forces, long-range aviation, cyber capabilities, space capabilities, and capabilities in the electromagnetic spectrum have lost no capacity at all. The air force has lost some aircraft, but only about 10 percent of their fleet. - Us general Christopher G Cavoli (congress in Europe April 10 2024).

In Kuwait during the gulf war the Brit soldiers ran in terror from the camel spiders. These spiders are puffed up mush easily squashed just like the UK military which is mainly hot air and bluff with few useful divisions or naval vessels. The UK has to use poor third world soldiers who are willing to risk their lives attracted by the pay. India and Nepal provided plenty of canon fodder over the years when they were a colonies.
