@@Nickname-ef9tv Slight correction. It was the Viet Cong, i.e. southern based communists who never recovered from the losses during the Tet Offensive. This actually played into internal politics, with northern communists then dominating the party from then on.

Good show! (You folks in Europe share a mistaken premise, however, that Trump will win the next election. He is widely detested here and only survives by our wacky electoral system that grants disproportionate favor to rural states. Also, his increasing dementia has many wondering if he will even survive to November!)😐

I second that motion! I think Trump will have mental meltdown before November. The prospect of jail will be the last straw for him.

The Ukrainians forced Putin to replace Army chief of staff Gerazimov with a KGB chief, Bortnikov. The KGB could take control of the Russian army. The KGB might want different things than Putin?

@pwatom222 ай бұрын
My guess - Pootin will let Kursk be for now... Chess game. No room for mistakes, especially by Ukraine.
@thuzan1172 ай бұрын
yeah the only way this can really go poorly for Ukraine is if somehow Russia manages to surround and destroy the Ukrainian forces in Kursk, which I doubt is gonna happen. If Russia redeploys a big enough forces to force the Ukrainians back then the Ukrainians would be retreating back to their own prepared defensive positions across the border which are largely intact and at that point Russia would need to decide to either cross the border and open a new, costly front while the main combat line is undermanned and strained by Ukraine or they would have to stay on their side of the border and either sit there to prevent another Ukrainian incursion, keeping the frontline stretched thin, or relocate back to the main lines where they just came from, leaving the border exposed to further attacks. Russia doesn't have any good options here. Whatever they do, it's going to create a weakness.

Why is no one talking about the fact this operation has likely been drawn up a year ago. A year ago, Ukrainians army/Govt started publicly talking about how UKR army does not have enough people. And for the last year, thats all we heard - not enough people, not enough people, not enough people. The west picked up these talking points and have been saying the same things on their airways..... I kept thinking "why on earth would the public admit they don't hav enough people, that only helps Russia". Well now we know. I bet Russia saw the large amounts of UKR on the border building up, but they're like "they dont have nought people to push into Russia". I think this was a years long psychological operation, and I think it's jus the beginning. I think there is something else in the works......
