I accepted her offer to rent a cabin for a time at the rear of her own home property and so found myself 'enslaved' very quickly, having to have daily contact, which then turned to control. I felt like a caged animal she was 'keeping' and poking at with sticks through the bars! However, thankfully I now can spot a narc from about 30 feet away although not as quickly as I would like. Some can be very subtle and not easily at first discerned, as I then discovered after checking KZbin excellent therapy sessions with the likes of Richard Grannon, H.G. Tudor, Dr Ramani, and Lady C, who with H.G. Tudor immediately recognised NPD in MMarkle. To my amazement my local doctor was the one who identified the NPD in my friend because of the symptoms I MYSELF was presenting with - I felt as if I was going insane, but discovered it was her insanity, not mine! That's how strong their 'invisible' power obviously is. He'd fortunately had experience with a couple of narcs and the effects of NPD on me were immediately recognised by him. Since just 18 months ago I've met 3 more, to my horror - all so loving and charming at first, and then the true manipulative and controlling person starts to appear - especially when they're challenged -then the horror begins! Thank you for adding your comment to these experiences - people with NPD seem now to be just about everywhere unfortunately and so many are totally unaware of it and its dangers.

I sympathise with Catherine being asked to do such a gross thing as let another use her lip gloss and I am disgusted by Meghan who would think it's an ok thing to do. If someone asked for my lip gloss I'd be most hesitant to give it to them and I'd either tell them to keep it or take it back but throw it into the nearest bin.
