In 1994, Ukraine agreed to transfer its nuclear arsenal to Russia and became a party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of nuclear weapons, in exchange for assurances from Russia, the United States and United Kingdom to respect the Ukrainian independence and the sovereignty of its existing borders. But since those assurances have been broken by Russia and the US has refused to provide effective use of its weaponry by Ukraine to protect its borders, does Ukraine now have every legal right to obtain its own nuclear weapons to protect its borders???

Trump will NOT pull out of NATO. His harsh rhetoric was to convince the limp wristed, weak kneed socialist leaning so-called leaders of NATO countries to pull their own weight and raise their military contributions to 2% as agreed upon years ago., and it has worked for the most part. Trump knows how and when to apply pressure to make leaders conform and honor their commitments. He'll also make Iran pay a heavy price for their support of their terror proxies across the ME - unlike Obama and Biden who have provided billions in cash to that rogue regime. In 2022 after the beginning of the russian invasion Ukraine proposed a peace agreement which would have allowed the Russians to hold on to Crimea for a period of years and to retreat to their pre-2022 borders while discussion went on. Ukraine also said at that point that it would agree not to join NATO. The Russians weren´t intrested (because they thought they could reach more by continuing their war). Under international law the whole of Ukraine including Crimea and including Donbas is part of Ukraine. If we start to undermine that basic principle we are opening pandoras box of future conflicts (not just in Ukraine but all around the world).
