Listless Days - piano song

A somewhat cheerful piano piece I made using fl studio.
Sharing your short stories is highly encouraged, I enjoy reading.

I dunno why, but I thought of a story while listening, so uh- Here- (Don’t mind me being around four years late): A small girl slowly peaks out of her window, watching the golden sunshine start to rise up and shine its light on every acre of land. The girl smiled as she puts on her favorite sundress, almost losing her balance when she runs as she pulls the zipper up on her own. It was clear this little girl was excited. Her mother heard her daughter’s footsteps run down the hall, groaning as she checked her phone... Seven in the morning. A little vexed, she stretches her arms out before sitting up to get ready for the day. The girl runs down to a small room. Said room had a few favorites of the family’s possessions hidden in cages. The small child takes a look at one of the cages before opening it... A bunny. She takes the bunny out, it sniffing at her a little bit before it snuggles into her arms. She smiled, petting the animal softly. Its fur felt like a bird’s feather. Soft. The girl giggled at the bunny before running out into her front yard. Her mother shook her head as she watched... Although this was irritatingly the norm, she still loved her little girl. The child sat down on the grass, petting the bunny as she looked around. Today seemed... Perfect. A boy from across the street comes out of the house, spotting his friend already outside of her front yard. They both share eye contact with each other before the bore the boy runs over to the girl. He bolted down, fortunately no cars coming his way. The boy sat down with his friend, looking at the bunny. They share laughs... A conversation... It was as if the day to too good. The boy then muttered underneath his breath, “I wish you were real.” (Ahaha, I’m so sorry-)

Emily skipped around the house happily as her mother washed the dishes, as her father read the news and chuckled as he watched Emily skip around and play with her new pet. A rabbit. The day was beautiful, the sunset was amazing. She picked up her rabbit and put it outside, as she followed it around the backyard. The rabbit hopped up the slide, failing and sliding down, bellyflopping onto the freshly mowed grass. Emily giggled as she picked some dandelions and buttercups for her mother, putting them in a bouquet form, she happily ran back in, bouquet in one hand, rabbit in the other. She poured a bit of water inside a glass vase, she then put the dandelions and buttercups in. She picked up the vase, and gave it to her mother. Her mother gasped and smiled, as Emily hopped in her mother's lap, hugging her. The day was amazing. :~Listless Days:~
