This concludes my series of the Liszt S137 Grande Etudes. Thanks everyone so much for following me on this journey, I've spent a looooong time learning these (and the Transcendentals) and I'm happy to finally post them for everyone to listen to. I realize I'm not that great at all of the etudes sometimes but I do the best I can as an amateur so thank you everyone who still watches and supports me!!

The "ramping-up" after 2:30 in is actually a really great mood change, intentional or not. Pretty sure it was intentional though

Yeeee I think that part needs more energy. I like it dreary at first then accelerating into a beeeg storm.

I don't understand is this a older version or chasse neige that liszt wrote first?
@thenotsookayguy2 жыл бұрын
S.136/12 is the original version of Chasse Neige written in 1826 and vastly is different different to the latter two versions. S.137/12 (this one) was a revision of S.136/12 written in 1837, it is pretty similar to the transcendental étude, but still somewhat different. S.139/12 is chasse neige, and the most popular version of the 12th Étude. It was written in 1851 and was a part of the final revision of Liszt's études

Sounds like trash compared to 139, the transitions to other sections don’t flow very well
