@@vanjavanja3905 In 9 months, I changed a lot and has known more about the classical music and piano. I would say the three best pianists are: Horowitz, Katsaris, Cziffra Edit: This comment has been made a year ago. It's Jul 1 now. I'd add Marc-Andre Hamelin.

There is a whole hungarish orchestra in each hand of Arcadi Volodos ... So many colors... It's not absolutely human, but gorgeous. Love the ladys with the fans, too :-)

Like someone said on other video - this is not Liszt's rhapsody anymore, but Horowitz etude! And I love it Volodos plays this one the best, in my opinion

Have to disagree on this take, i would called it horowitz cadenza

You're right. Arkady heard this rhapsody on the radio performed by Vladimir Horowitz, wrote down the notes of this performance himself and performed it just like that!

When Liszt was teaching in Weimar, it was a game for his students to try and surprise him by putting two or more of the Hungarian Rhapsodies together into a single improvisation.

You can see how fast he plays when he leaves the pressed key and you see it going up as normal, but he is in the other part of the piano now.

Beautiful indeed. Not quite the equal of Horowitz in phrasing and 'ease,' but still inspiring!
