It has been my privileged to be associated with some really good musicians over the years--and to hear several others perform in person: Rafael Méndez and David Oistrakh among them. I am quite sure this is the best rendition of this piece I have ever heard. One of the reasons I hope for the resurrection of the just is so Franz Liszt can hear these two play his magnificent piece of music.

Not sure exactly what you want me to share but, if it is the blessed hope of the resurrection, I also hope to someday thank other composers. I recently heard a rendition of Handel's Messiah on KZbin for example. In the resurrection, I hope to thank him for creating a masterpiece that has blessed millions. I believe Moses wrote the book of Job. In that book, Job is quoted as saying (my paraphrase), I know that my redeemer liveth and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. Though worms destroy my body, yet in my flesh I shall see God." To me, that means resurrection.

An extremely talented duet. The composers dramatic movements are taken in their stride. Normally I listen to this composition on the piano forte. This makes for a delightful change. Although I've heard it played on the violin many years ago, it takes getting used to the sharp twists and turns of this dramatic piece. Almost like Victoro Monti's Chadas.Well performed and very enjoyable.
