This a magnificent performance! I also like the fact that Anastasia performs on many different manufacturers pianos, not limiting herself to one particular brand. I have watched this carefully countless times and every time I can better appreciate the quality and precision put into every single strike. It is not just how accurately the notes are hit but the strength and speed with which every touch reaches each of the individual keys. All this requires and extremely remarkable concentration, because of the relatively high tempo selected to play this. I do not think it could have been played even a second faster. I want to come back as your everyday practice piano. ;-) Hot recording tip : Try putting a microphone -- on the floor -- UNDER the piano (or even, in an elliptical wooden bowl or a really cheap violin with most of the the top cut away ) to get more "piano/string sound" and less "room sound".
