Story behing this song: He wrote a song called "Jatti Jeoni Morni Bandook Vargi" in which he compared an actress (Sonam Bajwa) to a Historic Sikh Figure (Mai Bhago). Due to which people were very angry at him. There was huge outrage and a few days later he removed those lines from the song. Hundreds of people still gathered at his house in Punjab demanding him to say sorry. The thing was, Sidhu was in Canada. So his Parents were forced to apologise. The crowd also filled a case on Sidhu for hurting religious sentiments of Sikhs (IPC 295). Thus this song was written.

Whatever good work he did for his villagers and they organized cancer camps every year, but the media never showed them. We all love Sidhu Moose Wala so much because he remained humble and down to earth, despite earning so much name in his music career, he did not leave his village (Moosa), even in his 5 years of music career, he never saw his downfall phase. Always made records, within these five years, he had become the top artist in the Punjabi music industry and he always gave the status of brother and sister to his fans and any of his fans used to take photos with him on the way. Some people were jealous of his progress, so they killed him but they didn't know that he would become immortal. And now media is being shown that he had gang ties and was killed in a gang war. I think the story is more complex than that, a military operation(Operation Blue Star) was ordered by Indira Gandhi(former prime minister) to eliminate the terrorists hiding in Golden Temple(prominent place of worship for Sikhs) which was a failed operation and they ended up damaging the temple which is why people protested and she was assassinated by her own Sikh bodyguards and the riots were the aftermath of her assassination. This is just a summary, the story is more complex.
