The beef is about this song. Cardi cried about a verse Nicki did, so Nicki changed one word. But.... Cardi told that info in an interview but never mentioned it was changed because of her. So it was perceived as if Nicki heard Cardi's verse then went back and changed hers because Cardi's was "better" than hers.

The QB is the star is the football team, while the coach is experienced and knows how to run things. It was basically a compliment to Cardi, but she didn’t like that cause she felt like nobody is coaching her. But that’s why Nicki changed it, FOR CARDI.. We all know the verse today as “If Quavo the QB, I’m Nick Lombardi”.
