Halestorm is a rock/hard rock band from Pennsylvania. Lzzy and her brother, drummer AreJay, formed the band in 1997, she was 13 he was 10. Same lineup since guitarist Joe Hottinger joined in 2003 and bassist Josh Smith joined in 2004. Together they have 5 albums, 3 EP's of covers, and should be working on album #6. Lzzy is just a bada$$. Nightwish's Floor Jansen is a huge Lzzy fan, Dany from The Warning has called her one of her idols. She has done numerous collaborations covering a number of genre's , rock, metal, bluegrass, and even country. Btw, Lzzy has no "i" in it. Story goes that an early Halestorm superfan was also a huge Ozzy fan. That fan started stylizing her name without the "i", and it stuck. Check out some Halestorm originals. "I Am the Fire", "I Miss the Misery", and 'Back From the Dead" are some good ones to start with.
