We tackle the obstacle known as The Backdoor in Johnson Valley, and smash the ever living crap out of our Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon. But we CONQUER what has to be the most difficult obstacle we have ever attempted. All it took was a lot of SRT Hemi, some body damage, and a broken shock! HECK YEAH!
ps - I think we are the first JL to make it up The Backdoor!

Hey Mat what’s the wheel base on your scorpion crawler? You did back door so smoothly that it’s got me curious now, I’m at 112” and it’s quit a challenge but you did it very smoothly. looks like it to me as well. also it doesn't look any more dug out than normal , its pretty typical to see long wheel base guys struggle to get up and short wheel base guys almost never get up.

2yrs ago I bought a set of milstar Patagonia mts off Amazon they was the cheapest mid terrain tire I could find in my size at the time I liked never heard of it before and I took a chance well I've loved them since day 1 and watching y'alls videos and the abuse and the way they perform in every terrain sure makes me glad I bought a set even if they are just 33s but my plans are ton axles and 40s on my xj so I'll definitely be buying another set

I can't believe how much the upper tube on the slider deflected. Is it only those pieces of quarter inch bar holding it to the lower rail? Maybe take the sliders off and weld in some gussets for strength. You never forget your first experience with the back door.
