@@CatEatingSoup Well......she was planned to be killed early soo.....it's not that they didn't add a persona to her.....they just coudn't because of the plot 🙄🙄 and to be honest, i don't wanna start anything either but......Shuichi didn't have so much of a persona (to me) because he looks a lot like the other male protagonist in the original franchise....so yeah...he have the best character development in the entire V3 cast (my opinion) and that's "unusual" because the game fails TREMENDOUSLY in story sometimes, like chapter 5, don't know how did they planned that trial but.....OH BOY! what a shame

For example, Rantaro was the first one to die, but it was very obvious that there was more going on with him than just forgetting his ultimate. With Shuichi, I'm not sure what character you're referring to that you say he looks like? Plus, even if he did look similar, I don't think that it takes anything away from his personality. It's very clear that he's trying his best to help in the class trials, even though he knows he can only help after someone has died, while still dealing with his own insecurities about his detective skills, which is why he's one of my favourite characters :) With chapter 5, would you mind going into detail what problems you have with it? I thought it was quite well written, but if there's anything I missed, feel free to tell me! (I'm also realising that I said I didn't want to start anything, but here we go haha. But I respect everyone's opinions, and it's nice to see other people's views on the game. I'm open to changing my opinion after a bit of discussion!)

Tsumugi capitalized on this, and killed Rantarou

Yeah, but the most effective attempts of ending the killing game were made by the people insane/bold enough to make the suicidal plays. Sakura by taking her own life to say she unalived someone for Monokuma; Nagito by brutally wounding himself before being poisoned and impaled to scramble evidence for the traitor; and Kokichi by showing the other players a scorched Earth to fill them with despair so they stop killing each other over nothing. The problem with these effective attempts is that they were sabotaged. Sakura by Monokuma’s forged letter, Nagito by Chiaki who somehow managed to convince the others to vote for her, and Kokichi by Tsumugi and the flashback lights. Also, Shuichi being an amateur detective in trial 5 by helping Monokuma.

there's also a "the slap" trope where the former slaps sense into the latter by hitting them when they're acting crazy. It's with Aoi and Byakuya, Chiaki and Akane, Toko and Komaru and Kaito and Kokichi in each game respectively. there's also a "blast radius victim" trope that happens to Toko in 1, Kazuichi in 2 and Toko again in UDG too
