I fell asleep on the couch while listening to this. Never played oblivion before. Dreamt that me and chat (a bunch of mysterious people, maybe even a force of nature) were conspiring behind the scenes to get the main character with the voice of Joov to catch up with an argonian lady so he could deliver a pickup line to her. But upon such delivery the argonian lady stole a sword from Joov's character and proceeded to waterfowl dance (Elden Ring) at 70 miles an hour to escape and we had to try to chase her down. Over the hills and far away. Before I watch any of the rest of the stream, how accurate was my dream? woke up at about 2:02:17. I was in a floppy inflatable argonian costume and everything, to hold down conversation with this lady argonian until Joov could arrive and deliver the line

I love that people were discussing the lore and Dragon Breaks in the chat while Joov was trying to get Dar-Ma kidnapped. The idea of the Dragon Break makes a lot more sense when it's described as an event in which parallel realities collide and become one. It's an event few are really aware of when it happens and they aren't common.

Morrowind is my favorite TES game. Oblivion is the most fun TES game. I only installed some patches, and a couple small mods for Oblivion (most notably equipping an unlimited number of non-dupe, vanilla-generated rings), and started the game at Level 30. All the leveled stuff stops at level 30 and i didn't want to find trash the whole time. The first couple of encounters were awful, but, god this game is so fun. It's like Fable 1: No other game in its series captures the fun, goofy, kinda pretty but potato look, with a simple but fun gameplay loop that is also still easy to break.

I just started playing Oblivion for the first time thanks to watching your videos, and I'm sitting here watching this face palming because I just did all those dungeons you did for the Mages guild solo, and as a vampire cause that happened and not realizing I could get those two for followers to help. I've been doing the Dark Brotherhood stuff because I accidentally offed some adventure after escaping and was like okay guess I'm in the Brotherhood now instead of going to deliver the Amulet of Kings. lol

@Diet Joov I'd pay good money to see a mercenaries ost tier list. Just a random intro, or 5 minute video on April fools comparing mercenaries POD to mercenaries 2's ost. Sadly, I don't think it's popular anymore. There was a spike of popularity when it hit backwards compatibility, but everyone played it to death. I'd say I would pay good money for a playthrough with extreme rules to it, but... it really does hold your hand for a lot of it.
