Maybe what we feel is the disappointment of unacheived potential? We could potentially be fathers, warriors, protectors, brothers, best friends, providers, soul mates, leaders. But society doesn't require any of that from us. So we float, forgotten and aimless through life, getting glimpses of what we could be if only given the chance. If only we took that next step, took that action or said what we needed to. But we don't... we stagnate. We're dead already. And the worst part is it's all our fault. But if it's our fault that means we can change it.

I agree, those thoughts that I could have done better if I had been guided torment me, but that's just one of my feelings. In fact, after school people are left to choose their own path without explaining how to live, that's why I think many people feel abandoned, society is built so that someone is at the top of the food chain and someone is at the bottom and everyone has different luck, someone finds themselves and someone doesn't.

If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. John 15:19 It took me a long time to reach out to the creator, the feeling you have is real and raw and the good news is that you’re actually in touch with something bigger than this world, because the world rejects you. You simply don’t fit in, but do not be fooled into thinking that hope is foolishness. Because that’s what the world wants and that’s what lucifer wants. Would you look down on the homeless person covered in filth standing on the corner of the gas station? Would you even notice the homeless person or even stop to think what they’re feeling? Because this person perhaps was chewed and spat by society, maybe they’re not drug addicts, maybe they lost their job and their wife left them and took the kids and they simply gave up. Jesus loves outcasts, people who don’t fit into the world, the rejects and the despised. Jesus made friends with the outcasts, the diseased and cripples, and poor he said He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.” Seek Jesus sincerely and you will find your truth, what else will you attempt to feel whole? 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 8

If you guys want the honest truth. Stop romanticizing your loneliness. It's not healthy if you genuinly feel depressed. I love the 'literally me' community, but if you want genuine change then don't live as if you're a character in a movie. I just got out of a breakup, and I've realized how much the content you watch affects your perspective of reality. There is happiness out there for all of us, and sheilding yourself through trying to relate to emotionally damaged individuals is not the way to find it. With that being said, this edit is amazing.

Reminds me of something someone dear to me once told me: 'the more you hate yourself, the more you've been hating others' - and sure, maybe that self-hate was borne out of what others had done to me but in the end- who would save me more then /me/? Who would protect me from that pain, that loss but /me/? And even if loneliness was a constant companion, I too am my own constant companion. I swear, Ryan Gosling is literally me. Well, not in the real world, but when I dive into his character in "Drive," it's like looking into a cinematic mirror of my own experiences. The silent determination he embodies while facing challenges mirrors my approach to life, and there's something about his quiet strength and taciturn nature that resonates deeply with me. Behind the wheel, Gosling's character becomes a metaphor for my journey, navigating through life with precision and determination. His silence speaks volumes, echoing my belief that actions often convey more than words ever could. Living in a world that sometimes feels isolating, I find a reflection of my own search for meaning and genuine connections in Driver. The film's minimalist storytelling and Gosling's nuanced performance allow me to project my experiences onto the character, creating a personal bond with his journey. The atmospheric cinematography and pulsating soundtrack further enhance this connection. The neon-lit urban landscapes mirror the intensity of my internal struggles, making the film not just a story but an immersive experience that reflects my desires and challenges. Driver's relationships, especially with Irene, unveil a universal yearning for meaningful connections in a world that can often feel detached. As I watch, I can't help but see fragments of my own relationships and desires mirrored in his interactions. So, yeah, I may not actually be Ryan Gosling, but when I watch him in "Drive," I see more than just a character on the screen. I see a glimpse into my own quest for self-discovery and connection - his silent strength, relatable struggles, and the film's cinematic elements combine to create a powerful reflection of my own journey through life's challenges and the pursuit of genuine connections.

I always keep coming back to this video... This edit always assures me that I'm not alone in feeling whatever this is. My mind feels like a vast space of cluttered data and I have no idea what to do with all of it. It sometimes takes over me and makes me feel alienated from myself. This is not some phase that just comes and goes away occasionally. It's a constant reminder of time... I admit that it's a bit difficult to face and takes my productivity away. I don't know why but it really takes a toll on me seeing everyone having some passion and a purpose to work toward, whereas I am so different and not in a good way. I have brought this upon myself and not one day goes by that I don't regret it. I feel lost. I want to hold on for a few days, until I have a new opportunity to take. But honestly, waiting for an opportunity is so tiring. And doing nothing is depressing. I'm clueless. This feeling is... esoteric, to say the least. But this edit makes me feel like I am a part of this very vast group of people feeling the same thing that I am. And it makes me want to accept it and go forward to find a new dimension of happiness in the fabric of life. Thank You for making this. ♥️

"This is me. Literally me. No other character can come close to relating to me like this. There is no way you can convince me this is not me. This character could not possibly be anymore me. It's me, and nobody can convince me otherwise. If anyone approached me on the topic of this not possibly being me, then I immediately shut them down with overwhelming evidence that this character is me. This character is me, it is indisputable. Why anyone would try to argue that this character is not me is beyond me. If you held two pictures of me and this character side by side, you'd see no difference. I can safely look at this character every day and say "Yup, that's me". I can practically see this character every time I look at myself in the mirror. I go outside and people stop me to comment how similar I look and act to this character. I chuckle softly as I'm assured everyday this character is me in every way. I can smile each time I get out of bed every morning knowing that I've found my identity with this character and I know my place in this world. It's really quite funny how similar this character is to me, it's almost like we're identical twins. When I first saw this character, I had an existential crisis. What if this character was the real me and I was the fictional being. What if this character actual became aware of my existence? Did this character have the ability to become self aware itself?"

When even you are not alone and there are close people around you, you still feel loneliness, life is fleeting and then you realize that everything is meaningless, your whole life is just your story that will end, you can only leave a legacy in this world and disappear from it, we all die alone....
