The WBC hasn’t stripped Canelo of anything and they’ve been lying since Nov 2022 when David originally petitioned to mandate the winner of the David vs Plant fight - the video is still on FightHub TV if you want to deny facts. David was never going to get that fight and if the WBC ordered it Canelo would just drop the belt, just like he did when the IBF ordered the Scull fight (which is what you’re actually trying to refer to). Canelo is a scared opportunist and Sulaiman is even more corrupt than the video shows.

This story was probably a team effort by HBO and the WBC but Sergio Martinez was told to fight his mandatory Zbik by the wbc or be stripped of the belt. HBO said “Serg, if you fight this dude we will not air it or pay for it, fight another dude who we think we’ll bring in more money.” Sergio who didn’t have much leverage or money to avoid this decided to listen to HBO and fight someone else instead his mandatory. WBC strips Sergio and gives the title to zbik. Guess who gets a shot of title first? Solomon’s god son Julio Ceaser Chavez Jr. And guess where this fight is going to be aired on? HBO💀

WBA really stinks too, and whilst IBF and WBO have been dodgy too, they get two things right: the IBF essentially don't allow champion's to keep the belt when they choose rematches over mandatories, which allows the up and comers a chance. Even if it sucks Usyk had to pay. And WBO allowing undisputed champions a mandatory shot has been a great disruptor. It allowed Usky to get in the mix, when otherwise he'd have been frozen out for not being American or British. And its giving Crawford half a shot of becoming an unprecedented 'undisputed' in a third weight class
