This is the first literary deck I’ve seen (Unless Poe counts.). I love the concept. When you abused the poor book-as you do-I was impressed to see stitching holding it together rather than glue. Very high quality. Also I was able to note that under the card title, they listed the literary work from which this image was based. (You got there, a few cards in. I appreciate you mentioning the work along with the card.) The Fool, clearly Don Quixote and Sancho, was fun. I know the Magician, but it’s escaping me right now. But no way can I drop $65+ on one deck no matter how sparkly it is. Are there other good literary decks that are more affordable that you would recommend?

Could you check to see if The Emperor is Hercule Poirot, “Murder on the Orient Express” pretty please? I like the vast time range of the literature used. They seemed a bit Jane Austen heavy, but otherwise covered a large range of European and American lit. genres. There were only 3 stories I haven’t read or maybe just couldn’t recall…so that was great fun. I can appreciate the skill of the artists and my goodness were they generous with the gold, but I found the faces quite unappealing. I will say it’s one of the most diverse decks, especially considering the source material was not about a diverse group of people at all. It would be interesting to see how I could read with this deck, knowing the source material. It’d either be, I’d get caught up in my head going down memory lane, or like you said, get a deeper reading from it. Thank you for the review.

Tarot of the divine! They're based on fairytales around the world, the art is super gorgeous, and the price is affordable af. Only $18++ if I'm not wrong.
