What a beautiful cardigan! Beautiful Board, Beautiful Person... It all fits together. I noticed, you said reading 60% of your 2024 purchases is a reach goal for you, but you also put on 20-40 books on the list (depending on how series tracker books factor in and if you allow double points for the same book) that are already in your house right now. It will be interesting to see how that makes you feel during the year and where it leads you. Good idea with the "free" purchases in that regard! So kind of you to take all this time to share the guide and the different versions of the board!! ❤

Gosh, our reading goals are so aligned! I also have goals with rereads, newly acquired books, TBR vets, and allowing myself to lean a bit more mood versus completely structured TBRs.

🪩 for those impromptu dancing sessions whilst doing laundry. I totally overloaded every single TBR and would end up dragging some of the books to the next month. Still unread at this point. Mood reading was my vibe and escape this year. So I have to sit and ponder just what I’ll be doing for this bingo board. Thanks for the updated bingo board. It looks great.

So, did some soul searching and this is what I came up with. I moved some around so that what I anticipate will be my money square is not in the middle and is between two much harder squares (less chance of an easy bingo). From left to right, 10 audiobooks, 60% of 2023 ebook list (I went overboard), 5 rereads, 10 TBR veterans, BFF controls my TBR, 10 mood reads, 5 non-fiction books, 5 book club reads, and 5 rainy day books. Thanks for the inspiration, the framework and all the ideas. I look forward to this 2024 reading challenge.

Created my own bingo board, half inspired by your prompts and half really quite different based on my own goals. Made mine (hopefully) quite achievable so it’s doable and motivating rather than off putting. My 2024 is about gaining self confidence and celebrating small wins so this is all part of that. Thanks for sharing; I love this!

I don't think I'll do a bingo board next year but I really need to pay attention to how many books I'm buying. It's really gotten out of hand. I was aiming to decrease my overall TBR and she's just gone up and up. I've definitely read more this year than any other year which is great but I think that gave me an out thinking I could buy more. No....not if you want the numbers to go down. That's just not how math works. haha. Good luck with the challenge!!

It might be better to cut off your purchases at October or November so you have time to read those late in the year purchases. And count November and December 2024 purchases in your 2025 reading goals.

The way I understand it, she'll use a random emoji generator and then pick a book she feels fits the vibe of the emoji. So maybe a ❤ emoji means a romance book and the 😰 emoji means a horror or thriller cause it looks scared
