I was hoping the NPCs will mention ezio a bit in their small chit chats, but i just remembered that ac brotherhood started at 1511 and ac shadows' setting was on 1456. Pretty huge gap on the timeline

I am so looking forward to this game! I liked Mirage and this has the potential to be bigger with a more fleshed out story than Mirage. And like you mentioned, I like the potential differences in fighting with a smaller quicker fighter and a bigger more powerful fighter. The only comparison I can think of is the Batman Arkham games when you have the differences in playing as Batman and Catwoman.

In my opinion, it could be very easy for people to accuse Assassin's Creed Shadows of ripping of Ghost Of Tsushima. Ubisoft needs to be careful not to emulate Ghost too closely.

The only difference is that Ghost of Tsushima takes place on the island of Tsushima. Shadows takes place in Central Japan on the mainland.

Being similar to Ghost of Tsushima is a great thing if you ask me. Also with the call back to Ghost of Tsushima at the end of this trailer both Naoe and Yasuke do ablack and white filter execution that is nearly 1 to 1 the Ghost Stance. Jin Sakai would be proud.

What I am really curious about is how are they going to connect it with valhalla since mirage was like a prequel to valhalla. I did miss the top notch visual quality in mirage that we had in Valhalla. Mirage looked good but it could have been way better considering that it was a smaller game. But the new ubisoft forward gameplay showcases for shadows completely sold it for me please react to those too. The game couldnt look more breathtaking they can have my money just for that but then again they had to because the moment it releases every comparison KZbinr is gonna have a field day comparing it with Tsushima 😂. As a legacy fan, I do want a more seamless continuation of the main storyline connecting it to other AC games instead of me trying to get the closure over a DLC. I wonder how many agree with me on this.

From what I see from this game, Ubisoft really step up their fluidity mechanics to feel so flowing and smooth for our Assassin character and with our Brute, he really shows his strength within the combat. I am curious on that “Heavy Stomp” 🤔 it might be a skill to stun enemies around you or possibly give you a boost of adrenaline like Bayek in Origins if you use a heavy weapon/Spear

Yasuke existed in real life. Nothing woke about it. Even if you believe he wasn't a Samurai you chose to suspend disbelief in Alexander Graham Bell making electric shock bombs for Assassins, Leonardo Da Vinci making weapons of mass destruction and the first wrist gun for Ezio. Not to mention George Washington becoming a tyrant after stealing a magical artifact. If it's about Yasuke being a foreigner then Eivor was a foreigner in England, Ireland, Paris, and Vinland. Killed people from those lands and no one said a word. Not to mention the historical inaccuracy of Spartans throwing their shields like Captain America in Odyssey. 🤷😂
