Realistically we aren't expecting him to get better we just want to make sure that he can stay capable as long as possible and comfortable as long as possible. ALS currently has no cure or treatment but it's money they can at least try to slow down just a little bit.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis also known as ALS. So far from what I have heard it has impeded his ability to use his left hand and his speech. Yet despite only having one good hand he is able to do better at this game than most people I know. LOL

I thought Puppers sounded off since the one DBD like game you guys were playing. I didn't realize he had ALS. I looked it up and realized how badly it was affecting him :( This stuff sucks. I hope they find a cure or some way to prevent this, I never realized how bad it was.

Unfortunately it doesn't have a cure, just treatment. It's fatal. Usually it's 2-5 years since being diagnosed. But then there's the Jason Backer cases. He's a guitarist that was diagnosed with ALS like 20 years ago, he's completely paralyzed and can only move some facial muscles and his eyes, with which he communicates and composes, but he's alive. Theres a documentary called Not Dead Yet about him.
