Welcome Everyone, Well the time has come to do what I said I never would do, Install Lithium batteries. The price on lithium batteries is cheaper than ever but are they any good? is it worth it? With so many questions on what it would take to do this I sat down with Bob from Next Exit in hopes of answering some of the things I needed to consider before making that leap, Bob and I are not battery experts but we wanted to share with other RV'ers thinking about Lithium batteries from a full-timer perspective.
Over the next few videos we look at the nagging questions and how I handled those as we make the DIY plunge into installing lithium batteries... I will be using these batteries boondocking in the real world over the coming year and letting you know how well they work. I hope it helps you too, Join us, Shall you?
WARNING:
Doing your own electrical work is DANGEROUS, know the safety precautions to take: turn off power at the source before working, treat all wires as if they’re live, use tools with non-conducting handles, and so on. Electrical systems on RV's can cause risk of shock, severe burns, fire or even death! If you’re not confident about your ability to work with electricity, don’t take chances with your RV or your life. Get your vehicle serviced only by individuals who are knowledgeable and experienced in RV electrical repair.
As always,
Thanks for watching!
