@26:45 I dont get why cities are still buying them when the danger is so clear. Have you guys look at AVD? Ive been looking around for retail versions of lithium containment home/office or fire blankets and there's very little out there still. Given how many devices now use them its a must have.

Hi @husher5142 we're learning more about lithium ion fire preparation and response as we go. If you have any containment options that look solid let us know. We're also looking into fire blankets as tool during fire responses too. We're going to produce a video about a smaller set of battery containment 'boxes' in the near future, we've been using one called a Bat-Safe in our mobile production RV. I'll post when that review is ready.

@@HazmatResourceI havent personally tested anything but was looking into this (AVD) company and their Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion. They essentially have a non reactive substance create a seal to stop the thermal reaction. It also appears to be effective in stopping the cells from reigniting. Worth looking into anyway.

All fires are potentially dangerous. We should fear and not support gas stations, plastic recycling centers (massive fire in Abq this year), and gas lines? This video is the key! Train and equip firefighters to do their job BASED on the fire.

@@DigitaldogNet Not when there is a mainstream safer alternative. Driving gas powered bus with plenty of time to evacuate or EV thats incredibly onerous to operate/power and turns into a volcano/death trap if ignited. Also this video is literally saying they dont have great processes to deal with lithium fires and they are increasing, which is becoming a serious problem.
