Great question. The % of lithium is very different between the two with lithium carbonate having a much higher quantity. There just isn't enough research to demonstrate a swap of lithium orotate for a lithium prescription is effective.

I'd tend to stay with pure hi-raw natural organic basically veggy diet taken on a steady basis for both regular nutrition and purification. Had to write a book about this called, The GREAT Liquid Diet. That said, thank you for this information. Hadn't thought of the orotate version of lithium in this context.
