Little Amerricka winter trains of 1991

Shots of Whiskey River 16" gauge railroad in 1991 when they operated steam trains in the winter. Don at the throttle of the "Acorn", Hermann on the "Gracey" and Rich on the "Daylight" with Darrell taking her on a couple of trips over some slick track.

Love this because this has footage of all the rolling stock the Whiskey River had when I was a kid in the early '90s. We got our Christmas tree there in 1992 and '93. Also the only footage I've seen of the Acorn when it still had its metal cab and D&RGW lettering like it did in our pictures in '92. By the next year it had the wooden cab and running boards and "Whiskey River Railway" lettering that it does today. Also the "GN 351" diesel which we also have a photo of in our family albums, long since replaced by the 1996/1997 they have today.
