Shout out to my Fort Greene homeboys from back in the day Little Anthony and the Imperials. I'm from Farragut project. The brother to Fort Greene project which is just a few "steps" away. I sometimes walk through Fort Greene Park and try to figure out where Anthony and those cats use to blow. They were one of my favorite groups of all time God bless these Brooklyn Kings 😆.

I was almost six years old when I first saw LITTLE ANTHONY AND THE IMPERIALS on DICK CLARK'S AMERICAN BANDSTAND on WABC-TV, Channel 7 in New York City. They sang TEARS ON MY PILLOW and TWO PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.

Sammy Strain, the man who spoke right after Little Anthony, is one of 18 people to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame more than once. He went in as a member of the O'Jays in 2005.

People praised the Delfonics for using orchestras in their music but Little Anthony & Imperials did that long before. Sammy Strain, an original who later joined the Ojays , before returning to them. Nice to honor Teddy Randazzo who wrote their biggest hits. Thank you Sammy for praising God.
