A game ahead of its time had to have also a soundtrack ahead of its time. Cinematic, with mutiple layers, it conveys emotion and atmosphere flawlessly. Just listen to the dramatic strings part of Emerald Moon at 14:26 and try to be not inspired to something epic, like a brave hero on his quest against evil. One of the best soundtracks in gaming still to this day, it deserves way more recognition than it actually has.
