I miss the jump "boing" sound and the discrete mode with its upright bass sound 😭

If you turn the music down to, say 50-30%, you can still hear the jumping sound. But I agree, one of the details I miss is the sound from discreet mode. It would have been nice if they gave the option to switch between the old and new movement style. Apart from that, they did a fantastic job of giving the game a fresh new look. Looking forward to Twinsen's Little Big Adventure 2 Remastered.

I just played the dlc, and as a childhood fan of this game I certainly had my misgivings at first impressions. Especially with the removal of the behavior system, as much as I appreciate the fluidity of moving to contextual. BUT! I can see and feel the charm and love everywhere in the sound and level design, and I'm so excited to see more! Praying the pre-order of limited edition comes to US/Steam! I'll be buying it as soon as I know it's available!

Thanks for releasing a demo, I was going to purchase it on day 1 but now that I saw the game is just a really bad fanfic of the original I'll pass, removed LBA 1 and 2 from steam's whislist. Hope the "modern audience" shows up.

Please, do not do LBA 2 isometric. The world of LBA 2 is open and wonderful with camera angles to see the horizon.

I apologize to the creators, but I don't like this one bit. I was just recently thinking about LBA1 and thinking that this game is so great that nothing can be added to it or taken away from it (Revelation 22:18-19). I understand that they put a lot of effort into it and that making a game with their own story would be much more challenging and with a much smaller chance of success, but this is feeding off someone else's success and in a way that completely ruins the original. It's very rare that a really good remake of a legend is made. And this is not the case. FYI: I'm also a game creator (or at least a beginner) and I try to avoid these very intentions when designing. Hence the critical view.
