9:00 Need to invest in a round spin brush for the skid steer to clear those tracks off. That blower is gonna get old real fast.

20 plus years of cleaning sidewalks at a medical hospital taught me the easiest/fastest method is an old(cheap) zero turn mower with a brush sweeper angled slightly to the right.

The perfect tool to clear your robot paths is a quick-attach sweeper for your skid steer. Buy one with the power angle option, and you'll be happy. Work with the wind and the rotating brush angled with the wind, and it will clean off in one pass. Mind you, you still have the snow it's just in your driveway now, but for a quick cleaning of the paths, it's the ticket. Try not to use salt, use ice melter only when you have to. Cheers to all. 🇨🇦

Interesting. For bigger snows, I would think you could use the skid steer or shovel on each side of the metal strip. Also, I am amazed how easily your cattle load onto the trailer. You have a great system for promoting young stock.

We had a blizzard here in KS, so I hope your area doesn’t get one of those. If they make a rotary brush for your skid steer, that seems like a great solution to your snow problem should you get lots of snow quickly. Good luck for the rest of this winter!

Our family's 800 dairy cattle and 800 youngstock sold just over 2 years ago. Dad retired, brothers switched to 75 cow/calf pair of beefers and new-to-them crops. Do you take aseptic milk samples, strike on bi or tri-plates, incubate, and read growth to determine appropriate therapudic treatments, when needed? You use more high tech than we did. Although, we used a computerized feeder in the 80's in a tiestall barn, when we milked 112 head. We used flush alleys and reclaimed sand bedding in our manure system built in 04/05. Neat to see different ways of doing the work!

You should cut your concrete under the strip simular machine that you use for cutting concretu for cows for grip, and then move the strip lower for 1 or 2 cm just enough so you can use skeed stear bucket to clean snow. Love the videos

I think less milk drips with those GEA milked units. You did a thorough job when changing out the inflations. I am always impressed with your parlour hygiene - clean inside and outside. With all the complexities of the milking system when you think about it the inflations are the only part that touches the teats. So money well spent to swap out inflations. With robot milkers it is surprising how often inflations are to be changed. Not many units so each does a lot.
